I'm sorry if I offend you, but I taught my children the utmost respect for their animals and I would have never let my child write on my animals, only pet them, love them, cuddle with them and feed/water them. I fear what will happen if your child gets his hands on some permanent markers some day. I know it looks cute...and I realize the dog is not being harmed...but just think of what could happen if a child is allowed to do such a thing to an animal.
I've seen things in the news where kids have dyed animals hair or spray painted on them....so...just thought I'd offer my opinion, not done in anger, but rather conveyed because of my love for animals. I hope you'll forgive me if I came across in anyway other than the truth I felt...not wanting to hurt your feelings in any way!
Peace

Char, no offense taken and I totally understand. Not my child in the pic, thankfully - just something I came across that I thought was worth posting, mostly for the fact that the dog was so patient and sweet for letting his buddy "decorate" him.

I love this creative kid and that mama dog loves the attention! Crayola markers are non toxic. This picture speaks of love and patience.

Thank you Kelly....I feel much better...=)
I would like to add...this would be a good picture to show all of those people who want to outlaw pit bulls...because obviously this is not an aggressive dog...like so many people want to portray pit bulls to be.

I'm totally drawing on my dog now when I get bored. And since he refuses to take a bath ever, it will never come off.

He's whining and pawing at me while I type. Think he knows I'm plotting against him?
