arghghgghhhhh! i hate my kids doing the tree because they do JUST THAT! hang them all in one place! drives me nuts and I have to bite my tongue and let them do it. When they're all in bed I have to re-do it all! at least she's gone round the tree a bit.. mine just hang it all on the same branch!!!
That's how I decorate my tree too - I'm a shorty - LOL :) Very sweet!
