Twitter -- Confusing But Cool

Do you tweet? I do, apparently. This weekend, I finally gave in to my curiosity and set up an account on Twitter. I confess I'm a bit confused about how the whole thing works. I'd heard it referred to as "mini-blogging," and I guess that's true - you're limited to 140-character posts, which I suppose forces one to be succinct and encourages frequent, real-time updates.

I also confess that I was a little freaked out when several people I don't know started "following" (watching my updates) me within a couple hours of setting up my account. But now that I've spent some time reading through others' updates and finding some people to follow myself, I think this Twitter thing is actually pretty cool! Minimal drama, maximum potential for fun. And there are a TON of Etsy peeps out there. Apparently all the cool kids are a step ahead of me... as usual.
